Former Karnataka Chief Minister DV Sadananda Gowda declined to comment on an audio doing the rounds where he is discussing removing BY Vijayendra from the BJP State President's post.
Gowda said
he will not comment on the audio. "No comments regarding this. The audio
and video are not mine. So I will not reply," he told reporters.
Gowda, who
was a Cabinet Minister in Prime Minister Modi's government, said the media
should find out the truth about whether it is an AI creation or something else.
According
to him, some "Payment TV channels" could be behind it.
In the
video, the former CM is heard saying, "He (Vijayendra) is completing his
three-year term by November. Sir, it's just two months. Why should we create
more confusion? If you create the confusion again, the team of Vijayendra will
slowly, smoothly...."
Gowda
purportedly adds, "In two months we should push on this, and we should
send him out."
Further, his purported voice says, "When his term is also over (in the next two months), nobody can complain against the removal of the president, and even here also there may not be any confusion inside the party... So starting from July, August, September, October, kick him out."
